i just went to video camera and changed the default setting for the light to "on" so that whenever i use the video camera, which i rarely do, the light is on. why do i need to buy this application?

Not sure what JB, ED the some others were talking about. It is a ONE TOUCH that uses the camera light. It does not record video unless you press the ball, duh! One touch on, one touch off. Read the instructions and you won't be crying why its not working right. Great simple program compared to its competitors.

works as described and no real competition but it just brings up the video camera with the light on. I was hoping it would just turn on the light and turn off the screen, sorta do a little more than give me a shortcut to the camera. Still it does not record while the light is on and maybe the limitation is due to the OS... wish their was a 3.5, but 4 is fine since there is no other app that does better and i couldnt make anything better for sure

It works well! I rarely use my Blackberry�s camera, I didn�t even know it had a flash, much less that it could be manipulated and kept on as a flashlight. I was carrying a little flashlight on my keyring. I was able to get rid of it since I always have my Blackberry with me.
